Day-to-Day Primary Teacher - Nottingham

Flexible Supply | EYFS, KS1 & KS2

We are looking for reliable, motivated, and flexible Primary Teachers to provide day‑to‑day supply cover across a range of welcoming primary schools in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity if you're seeking flexible work that fits around your schedule, offers variety, and allows you to teach in different school environments.

About the Role

As a Day‑to‑Day Primary Teacher, you will deliver pre‑planned lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and ensure continuity for pupils when their class teacher is absent. Roles are available across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver pre‑planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and school routines
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively using positive strategies
  • Provide a supportive, engaging and safe learning environment
  • Communicate professionally with staff and contribute to school life
  • Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent UK classroom teaching experience within a primary school
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A good understanding of the primary curriculum
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Flexibility and confidence to work in multiple schools
Desirable Experience
  • Experience across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
  • Ability to adapt lesson plans to meet pupil needs
  • Experience supporting SEND pupils
  • Strong behaviour management across different settings
