Overview

Key Stage 1 Teacher (Full-time, Temporary).

Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne

Salary: £667.50 - £1,258.55 per week (salary depends on experience and/or qualifications)

Contract: September 2025 - July 2026

Role and Responsibilities
  • Teach within a Year 1 class in Key Stage 1 with experience in upper KS1 and strong behaviour management.
  • Plan and deliver differentiated learning to support all pupils.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team and teaching colleagues to develop a rich and inspiring curriculum.
  • Support pupils with SEND and adapt approaches as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience of teaching within KS1.
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • The ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
  • Excellent understanding of how to support pupils with SEND.
