Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience within the pharmacy sector.
  • Experience working in a primary care setting.
  • Experience of working within team environments.

Responsibilities

  • Help maintain accurate patient medication records.
  • Participate in stock management processes for medicines.
  • Provide general administrative support for the pharmacy team.
  • Communicate with patients, carers, and colleagues professionally.
  • Support implementation of national prescribing policies.
  • Undertake clinical audits supporting quality improvement.
  • Deliver medicines optimisation incentive schemes.

Skills

Prioritize, organize, and manage workload
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good use of IT packages such as Microsoft suite
Knowledge of Primary Care Networks (PCNs)

Education

GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English, Maths and Science
Completion of CPPE Primary Care Pharmacy Education Pathway
