About the Role

As a Band 5 Primary Care Nurse, you'll work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to residents. You'll be involved in emergency response, screening, vaccination clinics, and nurse‑led care delivery across the prison.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering safe, effective, and person‑centred care
  • Conducting assessments, triage, and risk evaluations
  • Administering medications and maintaining accurate records
  • Participating in audits, clinical governance, and service improvement
  • Supporting junior staff and contributing to team development
