Job Responsibilities

• Familiar with the main aspects of pricing such as risk pricing, retail pricing and expenses, including how these are modelled/derived.
• Lead building and updating risk/retail models using Radar, Emblem and alternative modelling/Data Science techniques.
• Lead analysis to monitor key aspects of business performance – conversion, retention, loss ratios and rate analysis – as directed by the Pricing Manager and flag any issues.
• Understand and interrogate relevant data assets as well as some external data sources.
• Proven track record in analysis and detailed knowledge of the UK Motor & Home Insurance markets.

Qualifications

• Experience applying multivariate statistical and/or Data Science techniques, e.g. computer literacy with knowledge of statistical software such as SAS or Python and insurance pricing software.
