Position: Pressure System Integrity Engineer
Location: Remote-based with trips to Angola
Rotation: 4 weeks in-country / 8 weeks remote or 5 weeks in-country / 10 weeks remote

Job Description
The Asset Integrity Engineer is responsible for implementing comprehensive Reliability programs, including Risk Based Inspection (RBI), Mechanical integrity programs, Inspection program development, and facility or equipment/piping/structure condition assessment.
Accountabilities
- Administer topside inspection activities including repair jobs, ensure the integrity of the repair work, review final inspection reports, and develop strategies to prevent re-occurrence of events.
- Provide recommendations on the scoping of repairs to meet applicable codes and standards, considering material requirements and equipment improvements.
- Guide the development and implementation of critical equipment inspection plans using techniques like RCM, RBI, or Inspection Codes, including defining inspection frequencies.
- Support analysis and interpretation of third-party inspection reports and define corrective actions to optimize equipment lifecycle costs.
- Monitor operating integrity indicators for equipment such as pressure vessels, pipelines, and cargo tanks.
- Prepare and monitor UWILD campaigns, including contractor coordination, techniques, and scope of work.
- Apply engineering principles to perform failure analysis, determine root causes, and conduct fitness-for-service evaluations.
- Participate in asset optimization studies using process data like PFDs, heat and material balances, P&IDs, and isometrics.
- Always consider HSE implications in operational changes and routine/non-routine activities.
- Follow up on Management of Change processes related to modifications and risk assessments.

Essential Education
A relevant engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical or Material Science.
Desirable Attributes
- 5-10 years of experience in Integrity Management in the oil & gas industry.
- Experience with integrity management software systems such as NEXUS, BassNet, ACET, Palladio, etc.
- Understanding of NDT techniques and defect assessment in accordance with codes/standards (APIs, ASME, ASTM).
- Knowledge of pressure vessel and piping design and inspection standards.
- Good communication skills and team versatility.
- Knowledge of coatings, materials, and remaining life calculations per API standards.
