Under the direction of the President, Acute Care Hospital Division, the President, Chief Hospital Executive, Riverview Medical Center provides leadership, direction and administration on all aspects of day to day Hospital operations in order to achieve targeted objectives, including nursing and support services, medical staff/team member/patient satisfaction, medical manpower/business development and financial performance. Located on the Navesink River in Red Bank, New Jersey, Hackensack Meridian Health Riverview Medical Center offers state-of-the-art technology and long-standing community care.

Responsibilities
  • In collaboration with the President, Acute Care Hospital Division and senior leadership team, leverage resources and systems and explore new models of care that support population health and position the hospital competitively while responding to community needs.
  • Establish effective working relationships with key constituents, including community, employed and independent physicians, team members, and board members; promote system-wide collaboration and communication.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on quality, safety and the human experience; drive data-informed decision-making and high reliability thinking.
  • Foster collaboration between clinical departments, transformation services, physicians, and affiliated services to provide integrated services aligned with the hospital's strategic initiatives.
  • Manage or assist in recruitment, development and supervision of team members; create an engaging environment; establish clear objectives tied to strategic goals; coach and evaluate performance.
  • Develop and manage budgets for assigned areas; monitor financial indicators and adjust activities as needed.
  • Track, analyze and report relevant data and metrics; implement actions or process improvements as appropriate.
  • Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Master Degree - Business Administration or Hospital Administration.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in strategic hospital operations.
  • Five (5) years of experience in senior level leadership.
  • Demonstrated leadership and complex organizational management skills.
  • Well developed planning, marketing, organizational development, and business skills.
  • Information systems capabilities and ability to use data for meaningful decisions.
  • Ability to work with physicians and professionals in multiple settings; promote workplace diversity.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage projects; experience in creating and managing budgets.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Education, Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Preferred
  • Fellow, American College of Healthcare Executives.
Compensation

Minimum rate of $397,196.80 Annually
