Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive PDI Technician / Prep Technician within a well-established, brand-new site located in Knebworth, Hertfordshire.

Benefits
  • Up to £38,000 basic salary + bonus
  • 45 hour week Monday to Friday / Saturday morning rota paid overtime & not required currently
  • Brand new prep centre site opened on behalf of national dealer group
  • Prep work, servicing, brakes, light suspension – no heavy work
  • Level 3 qualifications required
Typical Duties

You will be responsible for new and used car preparations, completing the paperwork and final road test. You will inspect the exterior and interiors of vehicles and report defects. You will work within a team of skilled technicians and approachable management to ensure all PDI’s are completed swiftly.

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • A current and valid UK driving licence

  • Previous experience in this role

The salary of this PDI Technician is £38,000 basic with the working hours of a 45 hour-week, Monday to Friday. Saturday mornings are on a rota with paid overtime but not required currently.
