Overview
Our client offers premium moving and relocation services to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), VIP clients, and corporate clients with VIP-level assignees. Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. This key role is focused on expanding their domestic and international client base.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to target high-net-worth individuals, VIP clients, and corporations with VIP-level assignees.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the relocation and moving services sector.
- Build a robust sales pipeline by actively seeking out and engaging with potential clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including private individuals, personal assistants, corporate HR teams, and mobility managers.
- Present and promote the company’s full suite of relocation services to prospective clients, highlighting bespoke solutions tailored to their needs.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to position the firm effectively.
- Manage both domestic and international sales efforts, ensuring that the firm’s relocation services are effectively promoted to high-net-worth clients worldwide.
- Understand the nuances of selling across different regions and cultures, adapting your sales approach to suit the target market.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, both locally and abroad.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional client satisfaction.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Build long-term relationships that lead to repeat business and client referrals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within the relocation, moving, or a related high-end service industry.
- Demonstrated success in generating new business and closing sales, particularly with high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients.
- Strong understanding of the relocation industry and the specific needs of VIP and corporate-level clients.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as a sales hunter, while also collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- Experience in domestic and international sales, with an understanding of cross-border relocation challenges.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales-related software.
