About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and practical Premises Manager to join our friendly school community. This is a vital role in keeping our school safe, clean, and welcoming for pupils, staff, and visitors.

As our premises manager, you will:

  • Be responsible for opening and locking the school each day.
  • Carry out general maintenance and repairs around the building and grounds.
  • Ensure the site is clean, safe, and well presented.
  • Oversee site security, health and safety checks, and fire safety systems.
  • Support school events by setting up rooms, moving furniture, and receiving deliveries.

You'll need to be practical, flexible, and willing to turn your hand to a variety of tasks. In a small school like ours, you'll make a big difference every single day.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Trustworthy, reliable, and takes pride in their work.
  • Able to carry out minor repairs and maintenance confidently.
  • Flexible and willing to adapt to the needs of the school.
  • Friendly and approachable, with good communication skills.
  • Committed to safeguarding children and maintaining a safe environment.

Experience in a similar role is helpful, but full training will be given.

Working Pattern is Monday-Friday 7.30am-3.30pm with an hour unpaid lunch (Hours can be flexible)
