A Pre-Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and preparation phases of a construction project. Taking the initial brief from the client, creating the cost plan, determining project feasibility, and developing the construction programme. The Pre-Construction Manager works closely with the design team to ensure that the cost plan stays within the client budget and fulfils the employers’ requirements. In tandem, the procurement and construction schedule is developed and assessed prior to issuance.
Pre-Construction Manager will ideally have 7-10 years of experience in the construction industry. The immediate requirement is to help grow and develop the Oxford office but would also be willing to travel to London on occasion. Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills are also essential for success in this role
