To contribute to the delivery of patients individual care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered practitioner. To work flexibly as part of a team, undertaking observations, phlebotomy, taking ECG's and MRSA swabbing.
Provide patient care as directed by a registered practitioner and in accordance with the patients requirements. Participate in the taking and recording patient observations, escalating abnormal parameters to a registered practitioner. Participate in phlebotomy - taking bloods and dispatching samples to pathology. Taking ECGs and uploading them to the patients Cerner record, and escalating abnormalities to a registered practitioner. Participate in obtaining MRSA swabs - taking the swabs and dispatching them to pathology. Arranging of blood clinic.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
To contribute to the delivery of patients individual care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered practitioner. To work flexibly as part of a team. Undertaking observations, phlebotomy, taking ECG's and MRSA swabbing. To act as a receptionist for patients visiting the unit. To practice in accordance with the Trusts standards and statutory requirements.
