  • Liaising directly with clients and HMRC on day-to-day matters.
  • Contributing to process improvements and helping to streamline office systems.

Accounts Senior

Salary : £34,000 £36,000 DOE

Location : Near Tarleton

ALF Recruit are working with a small but well-established firm of Chartered Accountants based near Tarleton. The business has built a loyal client base over many years and prides itself on delivering a friendly, personal, and high-quality service to local owner‑managed businesses.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced individual with practice experience either qualified by experience (QBE) or similar looking for a hands‑on and varied role within a close‑knit team environment.

The Role
  • Preparation of year‑end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Management of bookkeeping and VAT returns
  • Preparation of management accounts and assisting with client queries
  • Supporting with payroll and general compliance tasks as required
  • Liaising directly with clients and HMRC on day‑to‑day matters
