Staff for Education are currently supporting a brilliant Primary School in the Southwell area and we are recruiting for a PPA Primary Teacher to work at this school on a part time, long term basis starting in February 2026.

As a PPA Primary Teacher you will play a vital part in working across various year groups within the school and covering classes whilst Teachers have their scheduled time for planning and assessment.

Job Description
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across several classes and year groups
  • Ensuring the lessons are engaging for all pupils in the class
  • Managing classroom behaviour at all times
  • Meeting with class teachers to feedback on lessons
  • Supporting individual needs of pupils in the class
Qualifications
  • Have QTS or other recognised teaching qualification
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
  • Have a passion for working with young people
