• Ability to influence, coach and motivate delivery teams.
• Experience managing senior consultants or leading technical teams.
• Deep knowledge of core Power Platform components.
• Solid architectural thinking and problem-solving across enterprise scenarios.
• Comfortable balancing hands-on engineering with leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead across Power Platform engagements.
• Architect and deliver solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and Power Pages.
• Run client workshops, discovery sessions and technical deep dives.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and present solutions with clarity.
• Guide teams through tricky functional and non-functional requirements.
• Mentor and manage senior consultants, setting standards and supporting their development.
• Work closely with clients in person when required.
• Provide hands-on support across projects while shaping wider practice direction.
• Stay ahead of Power Platform capabilities, emerging features and related Azure services.

Tech Lead Power Platform

Base salary : 70k to 80k (up to 90k OTE)

Location : Remote with occasional client visits and monthly Manchester meetups

You will need to be eligible for SC clearance which normally requires five years of UK residency.

About the Role

Edge Tech is working with a growing Intelligent Automation Consultancy which is looking for a senior technology leader who blends strong hands‑on ability with clear confident leadership. This role sits at the heart of our Power Platform capability and will guide how we design, build and deliver solutions for our clients. You’ll balance technical ownership with people management, client workshops and real consultative engagement.

You’ll work across several accounts shaping architecture, defining best practice and stepping in to solve complex technical challenges. You’ll also be the person clients trust running workshops, gathering requirements, presenting solution options and helping senior stakeholders understand the value of what we’re delivering. Strong communication is essential along with the ability to adapt your approach to technical and non‑technical audiences.

On the leadership side you’ll manage and coach a team of senior consultants. You’ll help them grow, set standards, review their work ensuring the practice is continually improving. You’ll lead by example through both your technical depth and your approach to delivery.

This role will remain partly billable and requires someone who is comfortable working across multiple projects at once.
