The University of Reading is seeking two Postdoctoral Research Associates to join its climate programme. The roles focus on innovative research into sea level change and ocean heat uptake, requiring a strong academic background alongside analytical and creative skills. Applicants should be motivated and passionate about climate change science, ready to contribute to significant research projects funded by leading UK environmental councils.
We seek talented and imaginative scientists to carry out research on sea level change and ocean heat uptake as projected by global climate models, using novel experiments and diagnostic techniques. We are advertising two posts within the climate programme of the National Centre for Atmospheric Science, each for three years (less if appointed at a high salary in the range),to begin within the next few months, in related projects funded by the UK Natural Environment Research Council.
