The role involves providing specialist clinical care, supporting a new care pathway, and engaging in research and education. Candidates should possess experience in neurology and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care. This fellowship offers opportunities for clinical training and the development of skills in action research and neuropsychiatry.
This is a Post CCT Fellowship in Functional Neurological Disorder for neurologists. The remit of the postholder will be to work within the multi-disciplinary team providing specialist care for patients with FND, while also supporting the implementation and evaluation of a new care pathway and contributing to education across the regional network.
The fellowship will provide clinical training and experience to allow the fellow to practice independently as a specialist in FND. Alongside this, the postholder will develop skills in action research, service development, and education. There will also be optional exposure to another subspecialty area of neuropsychiatry, depending on individual interest.
