Job description

As a Porter/Mover, you will support the Logistics Supervisor or Team Leader by ensuring the effective coordination and delivery of a high‑quality, efficient logistics, mail, and porterage service.

This is a dual role, with primary responsibility for mailroom and porterage duties, while also providing support to the daily cleaning team as part of the overall operational regime.

The position requires flexibility, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting both the logistics and cleaning operations.

The Role
  • Manage the loading bay, recording all deliveries and operating the x‑ray machine safely.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages; prepare and dispatch outgoing mail in line with postal schedules.
  • Support internal office moves, meeting room setups, and equipment relocations.
  • Assist contractors, couriers, and delivery personnel while maintaining site security and safety compliance.
  • Undertake daily cleaning and housekeeping tasks to maintain hygiene and presentation standards.
  • Support the cleaning team as needed, including waste removal, washroom upkeep, and replenishing consumables.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and respect in all interactions.
  • Uphold confidentiality and data protection requirements at all times.
Qualifications
  • Experience in logistics, mailroom, or porterage operations.
  • Willingness to undertake basic cleaning duties as part of the role.

  • Understanding of Health & Safety procedures and manual handling best practices.
