A leading health service provider in Manchester is seeking a dedicated Porter to provide transport services for patients and medical items within the hospital. This position requires regular interaction with vulnerable patients, including children, and aims to ensure smooth operational efficiency within a busy healthcare environment. A full UK driving license is necessary. The role is full-time and offers a salary of £24,465 per year. Candidates committed to diversity are encouraged to apply.
To work in one of the dedicated pool porter posts in the porters' roster, providing a comprehensive hospital portering service. This role will require the applicant to work with adults and children within an NHS Hospital. Every shift the applicant works will include regular contact with adults and children and/or working within a close proximity of vulnerable adults and children. The child patients will be under the age of 16 years old. The applicant's activities will include NHS portering duties transporting adult and child patients within the hospital and at times being alone with the patient. Collecting confidential information as well as specimens, medical equipment, blood products and at times driving the MFT trust vehicles. Full UK driving license is a must for the role.
