Job description

Job Title: Porter

Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour

Location: Various locations across Edinburgh

Dates: 3 days of work (30th August, 6th September & 7th September)

Hours: 9am-5pm

Induction: Must be available to attend induction on 29th August (1pm-3pm)





Main Responsibilities:

- Unloading luggage and personal belongings from vehicles
- Transporting luggage into accommodation buildings (using lifts where necessary)
- Directing vehicles to appropriate unloading zones
- Providing a friendly and helpful first point of contact during move-in
- Monitoring entrance areas to manage flow and avoid congestion
- Reporting any maintenance or safety issues observed
- Keeping lobbies, corridors, and lifts clear and safe during move-in hours
- Supporting the accommodation team with general duties as needed
