A leading security services provider in Stanford-le-Hope is looking for security personnel to ensure the safety of customer properties and compliance with guidelines. Responsibilities include managing incidents, training, and maintaining thorough records. Candidates should possess relevant licences, prior security experience, and a proactive attitude towards safety. Preparing all relevant paperwork/sheets for the shift
Responding promptly to emails/messages from respective departments (Security Superintendent, Facilities, Mitie Management…).
Keep a record of any keys that have been issued out/handed in. Keep key records and gate codes updated.
Cyclamen alarms – Coordinate officers/cameras alongside Control Ops.
Hourly radio checks during shift – Control Ops to assist.
Incident/Intel management.
Report any suspicious activity spotted on camera.
Control room access records – Control Ops to assist.
DOB recording.
Scan in DOB entries (Night Shift) – Control Ops to assist.
CCTV footage downloads/snapshots.
Search confiscation/seizure evidence – Control Ops can input when necessary.
GDPR Forms and Data Request Forms
Updating the banned staff/contractor list
Managing uploaded witness statements.
Ongoing training in the control room.
Answering the phone/intercom.
Issuing temporary passes out of hours
In the case of an incident on site, the following procedure is to be used in the control room to ensure everything is running correctly.
Making relevant phone calls to all concerned parties (, Shift Manager, Security Superintendent, Mitie Management…) Dispatching/allocating mobile units to the relevant locations required Updating the officers on the ground via radio Record all relevant information (times, dates, names, locations, vehicles, companies) Use CCTV to update on any information
Once the incident has finished, the Team Leader must make sure the report is completed with all the relevant information gathered. Any snapshots that can be uploaded, witness statements, notes from the Ops, information gathered from officers on the scene.
When the report has been completed, it should be sent to Security Superintendent, Security Manager, Deputy Security Manager and the ODM.
