Overview

Reporting to the Head of Policy, Project and Improvement Children's Services, you will lead and manage a team consisting of Senior Policy and Improvement Officers, Policy and Improvement Officers and Policy and Commissioning Analysts. Children’s and Family’s needs are ever changing; your role will provide essential creative and delivery capacity to help services adapt and evolve.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Senior Policy and Improvement Officers, Policy and Improvement Officers and Policy and Commissioning Analysts.
  • Scope, develop and manage delivery of policy and transformation projects, including writing associated papers and project plans.
  • Manage a very busy schedule, prioritise tasks amongst competing demands, and keep track of important tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Brilliant verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey information clearly to a diverse range of audiences.
  • Previous project management and associated qualifications are advantageous.
  • Strong IT skills and enthusiasm for embracing new technologies to support business needs.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusivity with respectful interactions across communities.
