Job Overview

We are looking for a Podiatrist to join our friendly team on the Isle of Wight.

You will work as part of a team to provide high quality podiatric care, to maintain mobility, tissue viability, independence and relieve discomfort to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide the highest quality of podiatric care to patients with a variety of care needs, both in the acute and community settings.
  • Be responsible for a caseload providing diagnosis and clinical treatments to patients, to maintain mobility, independence, tissue viability and to relieve discomfort.
  • Work with other podiatrists and student podiatrists; and work as part of a multidisciplinary team and act as a source of advice for patients, carers, GP's and other healthcare professionals. A Senior Podiatrist or above will be available to provide advice and assistance.
  • Have an input into health education and health promotion, participating in training sessions.
  • Be an effective part of the Podiatry team, adhering to Podiatry Department and Trust policies, strategies and objectives, and actively contributing to their development.
