Location: Maidstone
Salary: Daily Rate of 180 to 260 - dependent on experience
Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher with experience in Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) to join a supportive and forward-thinking independent SEN setting. Responsibilities
  • Deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons for pupils with complex needs, ensuring personalised learning outcomes.
  • Support the development of communication, social, and life skills alongside core curriculum areas.
  • Collaborate closely with a skilled multi-disciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral staff.
  • Foster an inclusive, safe, and nurturing environment that encourages independence, confidence, and positive relationships.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, enrichment activities, and pupils' holistic development.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with proven classroom experience.
  • Experience working with children with PMLD and/or complex SEN is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies, personalised learning, and behaviour support.
  • A creative, resilient, and compassionate practitioner with excellent communication skills.
  • Committed to safeguarding, child protection, and promoting the welfare of young people.
