Plumbing & Gas Tutor/Assessor – Full Time

Location: Oxfordshire

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £38k per annum

Start Date: As soon as possible

Clarus Education are proud to be supporting a leading training provider in recruiting a Plumbing & Gas Tutor/Assessor to join their growing and dynamic team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated professional to share their industry expertise with the next generation of plumbers and gas engineers. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality assessments and training both on-site and in-house, supporting learners across a variety of age groups and experience levels.

Plumbing & Gas Tutor/Assessor – Full Time - Oxfordshire

Responsibilities
  • Deliver and assess Plumbing & Gas qualifications in line with awarding body standards.
  • Support learners through practical and theory elements of their courses.
  • Conduct on-site and in-house assessments, maintaining clear records of learner progress.
  • Contribute to maintaining high-quality teaching and learning standards across the organisation.
Essential Requirements
  • Fully qualified Level 3 Plumber/Gas Engineer (CCN1 and CENWAT).
  • Minimum 5 years’ industry experience.
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Word/Excel).
  • Excellent communication skills and a good standard of English, Maths & ICT.
  • Ability to manage your own workload effectively and work collaboratively as part of a small team.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to attend staff training and professional development courses.
Desirable
  • Qualified Assessor (A1/TAQA) – training can be provided for the right candidate.
