My client carry out installation, servicing, maintenance and breakdowns of all types of plumbing, heating, gas, LPG, oil, solar thermal, air source and ground source systems. In addition to this the fitting of bathrooms would be a benefit but not a necessity.
They are currently looking for an experienced plumbing and heating engineer to join their small family run, friendly and highly experienced team. The successful candidate will have a bias towards installation and gas work and be able to work well, unsupervised, in domestic and light commercial properties to our very high standards. They encourage quality over quantity and believe in allowing realistic times for all of their installation and service work so that the job is done right. The ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with their valued customers is essential.
They will offer training where necessary however the successful candidate will have relevant gas qualifications, a proven track record and a well-established knowledge of all types of plumbing and heating systems as this is a multi-skilled role. Experience in oil fired systems is an advantage but not essential. With such a diverse range of heating technologies, my clients managing director is always at hand to assist with technical queries and will offer you support throughout the day.
This is a full-time position based on 40 hours per week with paid additional overtime and call outs where required. We offer a highly competitive hourly rate and the support of our experienced and friendly team. Monday to Friday: 8am until 5pm (additional hours where required)
Salary: £40,000 to £43,000
