Job description
Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced plumber to work at a unique static site in Boston, Lincolnshire. There is a requirement to work 1 in 2 weekends on a rota basis, with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary. The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week across 7 days where a weekend shift pattern is in place.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring Health & Safety standards are met across the contract.
  • Performing statutory works on time, ensuring compliance.
  • Conducting routine and non-routine maintenance, including fault finding and repairs.
  • Inspecting, sampling water, and assessing risks to maintain system integrity.
  • Repairing mains water supply and addressing life-expired equipment.
  • Monitoring the BMS System to ensure optimal performance.
  • Supporting zero carbon initiatives, contributing to sustainability goals.
  • Handling additional tasks as directed by your line manager, including working at height and in various weather conditions.

What makes this role unique is you will ensure all works are carried out to the highest safety standards and to the agreed method statements. A high level of security clearance will be required due to the nature of the site.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Appropriate Trade qualification (Level 3)
  • Experience in operating light plant
  • Ideally NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating with experience in plumbing maintenance; applications may be considered if you have NVQ level 2
  • Desirable: Legionella Control (L8) and experience in a commercial environment to help you hit the ground running (not essential; development will be provided)
