This is a full‑time role with fixed hours (Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm) and a clear overtime structure.

You’ll enjoy a steady workload with scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance for commercial plumbing systems.
  • Perform general building services maintenance across a range of facilities.
  • Repair cracked pipes, clear clogged drainage, and maintain complex plumbing systems (e.g., washers, steam cleaning devices, air compressors, hydraulic lifts, water / drainage systems, sprinkler systems).
  • Conduct leak detection tests, solder / braze tubing and piping, and install / repair components in water heaters, tanks, sinks, showers, and storage facilities.
  • Install, modify, and repair plumbing systems including valves, traps, unions, and backflow prevention devices in compliance with local codes.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out routine maintenance and installation work.
  • Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards within Facilities Management (FM) and commercial property environments.
  • Travel between sites as required, using company‑provided van, phone, and PDA.
Professional and Personal Competencies / Qualifications
  • Experience in mechanical building services maintenance, including fault finding, routine maintenance, and installation work.
  • Strong background in Reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) for building services.
  • Proven track record within Facilities Management or commercial property environments.
  • Level 2 / 3 Plumbing Qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence (travel required).
