Due to the success of our Breakfast Club, we are looking for an additional Playworker to support our Breakfast Club: a safe space where children can relax, feel happy and get ready for their school day. You will need a relevant level 3 qualification, to support our young pre-schoolers. Hours of work 7.45am- 8.45am, Monday to Friday. Awarded 'GOOD' in all areas by Ofsted, we have recently embarked on our most significant expansion in recent years: opening two new pre-school settings whilst investing in increased extra-curricular provision. The government, via Norfolk County Council, has launched a significant funding programme to develop Wraparound care in schools, and we are delighted to receive of this funding which extends to Summer 2026.
We would love to hear from you if… you’re passionate about play! Children follow directed learning during their school day, so our wraparound care needs to be a chance for them to play their way; a fluid space where they can relax, have a light breakfast and enjoy time with their friends. You'll need confidence, good instincts, an approachable nature and the ability to multi-task! If this role excites you, we'd absolutely encourage you to contact us for a chat, a tour or simply to apply. We offer opportunities for training and qualifications through the Wraparound project and DNEAT. This role could work well in alongside our other newly-established opportunities - we have MSA and EYFS TA adverts running concurrently which also require Level 3 qualification. Please let us know if you are interested in being considered for these.
