Job description

Prospero Teaching are seeking compassionate and skilled Play Therapists to work with children and young people across a variety of ages in the BCP area. Sessions will take place in person, either in the home, public space or school setting, providing tailored therapeutic support to help children express themselves and thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver play therapy sessions to children and young people in a safe, supportive environment.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, schools, and other professionals to support the child's emotional well‑being.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to safeguarding policies.
Requirements
  • Qualified Play Therapist (or relevant experience in therapeutic play, including knowledge of the PACE model).
  • Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Ability to travel within the BCP area.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
