Plasterer Multi Trader

Up to £36,000

As a Plasterer at Hyde, you will be a key member of our maintenance team, responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to plastering, tiling and general maintenance. This role requires a versatile professional who can address a range of property needs efficiently. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall well-being of our customers by ensuring the quality and functionality of our housing units.

Responsibilities

• Preparing surfaces for plaster application by cleaning and smoothing.
• Applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using appropriate techniques.
• Repairing and patching damaged or cracked plaster.
• Ensuring a smooth and uniform finish on all surfaces.
• Collaborating with other maintenance professionals to address comprehensive property needs.
• Following safety guidelines and protocols during all plastering activities.
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Providing excellent customer service to customers.

Skills and experience

• Proven experience as a plasterer, with experience in residential plastering.
• Knowledge of various plastering techniques and materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Multi trade experience is desirable
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour.
• Valid driver\'s licence.
