Plant Attendant - Energy-from-Waste Facility

📍 Beddington

🕒 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday (Earlies/Lates shifts)

💷 £40,000 + annual bonus + benefits

Plant Attendant Role

We are looking for a Plant Attendant to support day-to-day operations at the Beddington Energy-from-Waste facility. You will play a key role in managing fuel reception safely and efficiently, ensuring high plant performance and supporting wider operational duties.

Plant Attendant Responsibilities

• Managing on-site vehicle movements and traffic flow
• Operating heavy plant, overhead cranes and forklift trucks
• Handling fuel reception and bunker management, including out-of-hours duties
• Carrying out weighbridge operation, routine plant checks and site cleaning
• Supporting tipping hall operations and safe systems of work

Plant Attendant Background

• Experience operating mobile plant
• FLT, lifting/slinging or relevant plant operation certification
• Understanding of permits, risk assessments and safe systems of work
• Engineering, technical or operational background/qualification (desirable)
• Logical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
