Overview

The Planning and Performance Analyst role contributes to analytical work supporting the University's planning process. The role extracts and transforms data from internal and external sources to monitor performance and builds the University strategic performance framework.

Responsibilities
  • Extract and transform data from a range of internal and external sources into intelligence.
  • Monitor the University's performance within the strategic performance framework.
  • Collaborate with the SPPU team and support wider directorate operations.
Qualifications
  • High-level numeracy and experience analysing various data types (student, staff, financial).
  • Excellent IT skills and ability to learn new IT systems.
  • Knowledge of industry standard business intelligence and visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Working knowledge of modern data analysis techniques.
