A specialized infrastructure organization in the UK is seeking an experienced Planning and Consenting Manager to lead planning and environmental compliance for significant infrastructure programs. The role involves overseeing project planning, stakeholder consultations, and managing environmental risk. Candidates should have a relevant degree and experience in managing complex consenting processes. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with a focus on sustainable infrastructure delivery.
Do you have proven experience managing complex planning and consenting processes for major or nationally significant infrastructure programmes?
Are you passionate about shaping the future of sustainable infrastructure and eager to bring your professional expertise — or ambition to achieve chartered status — to a role that makes a real impact?
Would you like to take the lead in delivering one of the UK’s most high-profile infrastructure projects — balancing marine, terrestrial, and environmental challenges in one truly career-defining role?
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Planning and Consenting Manager to join a major UK infrastructure programme. This newly created role comes as part of a strategic expansion to strengthen planning, environmental, and marine consenting capabilities across the project.
As the Planning and Consenting Manager, you’ll lead all aspects of planning, licensing, and environmental compliance across both terrestrial and marine environments. Working in close collaboration with client-side teams, technical specialists, and delivery partners, you’ll ensure every application and permit is expertly prepared, compliant, and delivered on schedule.
This is a chance to apply your expertise to a nationally significant programme that will shape future infrastructure delivery — while benefiting from hybrid working and the opportunity to engage with some of the most experienced professionals in the sector.
This position offers a hybrid working arrangement based from Kentigern House, combining office collaboration with flexible home-based working. You’ll join a forward-thinking programme team dedicated to delivering sustainable, efficient, and compliant infrastructure — where your expertise in planning and consenting will directly shape project success.
