Overview

Are you keen to work in our Special Projects team, planning large scale refurbishment projects? You will lead the planning on complex refurbishment and special projects, often in live environments, from tender and preconstruction through delivery to completion. These projects demand meticulous sequencing, stakeholder coordination, and innovative planning solutions to minimise disruption and achieve programme certainty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and manage all programmes and time-related deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate planning strategies and performance metrics clearly to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Challenge assumptions and proactively identify risks to keep delivery on track with company and project targets.
  • Integrate Digital/4D planning techniques to optimise phasing and logistics in constrained environments.
Your Profile
  • Extensive construction knowledge, ideally with refurbishment or live-site experience.
  • Proven track record in planning at tender, preconstruction, and delivery stages.
  • Experience managing planning on projects over £50m+ (refurbishment or special projects preferred).
  • Strong understanding of various forms of contract, including NEC.
  • Skilled in Asta Powerproject and Primavera P6; 4D planning experience advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior planners.
