Job summary

A global engineering firm in Reading is seeking a Piping Area Lead / Design Supervisor for a new FEED project. The role requires expertise in plant layout and experience in downstream oil and gas projects. The successful candidate will oversee the design team to ensure high-quality project delivery while collaborating effectively with senior project personnel. This is a contract position for 12 months, based in the Green Park office in Reading.

Qualifications

• Pre-FEED and FEED project experience is required.
• Experience in Downstream Oil and Gas is essential.
• Middle East project experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proven expertise in Plant Layout
• Provide feedback and input to Lead Engineer to support project execution and delivery
• Demonstrates good communication with senior project personnel
• Good coordination with all engineering disciplines to develop the design
• Supervision of design team assigned to area to ensure project delivery
• Ability to solve complex problems
• Ensure quality requirements are met for designated scope
• Organise and lead 3D Model Reviews

Qualifications

• Pre-FEED and FEED experience required
• Detailed Design experience beneficial
• Middle East reação experience preferred
• Downstream Oil and Gas experience required
• Module and / or Offshore experience required
• Onshore mega-module experience preferred
• Good Knowledge of industry codes and standards
• Hexagon S3D capability required
