Job description

Overview

We are recruiting for a Pig Stock Technician to work on a farm in Yorkshire, YO61. The dual-site has 750 sows, breeding to finishing farms. The units are currently undergoing extensive modernisation, so aptitude in computer systems would be advantageous but not essential for the position. The pig unit operates on a weekly weaning system, with farrow-to-grower pigs on one site and finishers on another. All growing is fully slatted and functions to the highest welfare standards.

Requirements

Experience is preferred but not essential, as on-site training can and will be provided.

Salary and Benefits

Salary £25,000 - £35,000 DOE
