Job description

Are you working on a pig farm and wondering what’s next? Or perhaps you’re a recent graduate looking to build a career that makes a real difference?

This role offers the chance to step away from the daily pressures of farm work while staying close to the industry. You’ll be out on farms, using your practical experience to help producers meet high welfare standards and improve their operations.

At its heart, this role is about purpose. You’ll be part of a respected assurance scheme, helping to safeguard the welfare of pigs and poultry across the region. Your work will directly contribute to raising standards and supporting farmers in delivering best practice.

It’s a Monday to Friday role with regional travel, giving you structure and variety without being tied to one site. Full training is provided, so whether you’re an experienced farm worker or a graduate with the right mindset, support is in place to help you succeed.

The role:

• Travel – Extensive travel
• Assessments – Conduct thorough farm assessments in adherence to the assurance scheme.
• Feedback – Provide verbal assessment feedback and create a written report.
• Unannounced monitoring visits – conduct unannounced monitoring visits and review corrective actions for compliance.
• Admin – Schedule assessments, write reports and maintain records

About you:

• 2 or more years of experience working on a commercial pigfarm
• UK driving licence
• Willing to travel extensively
• Commitment to high welfare standards
• Based in Norfolk area
