Position:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapy Technical Instructor based at DGRC Ayrshire Central Hospital.

What you will do:

As part of the multidisciplinary team the post holder will provide a high standard of care to patients who have been delegated by Physiotherapy Staff. They will support and enhance the role of individual team members by providing skilled assistance/ interventions in a variety of settings with direct and indirect supervision from Physiotherapy staff.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

• Previous experience working within a health care setting essential
• Fitness industry or Health related SVQ level 3 or equivalent
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with people as part of a team
• Ability to work in isolation without direct supervision
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritise and carry out assigned tasks effectively

Hours:

22.3 hours per week over 3 days Monday – Friday, days to be agreed

UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:

A UK car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
