Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust have an exciting opportunity to join the Band 5 Physiotherapy rotation on the Isle of Wight.
This post comprises of a total of seven rotations including Orthopaedics, MSK, Surgical, Medical, Stroke, Falls and Community Rehab. This will allow successful applicants to get a comprehensive grounding in the varied physiotherapy disciplines and gain invaluable experience along the way.
Each rotation is six months long and you will be working alongside experienced Physiotherapists and other members of the multi disciplinary team. The job is based solely on the Isle of Wight and offers an excellent work life balance on our beautiful Island.
To independently perform physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations, complex physical and psychological conditions and to provide a diagnosis to develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme.
To independently hold responsibility for own caseload within the rotation and be responsible for independently maintaining associated records with support of a designated senior clinician.
Supervision taking the form of regular formal training and clinical reasoning sessions, peer review and case conferences.
To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner, with support from senior clinicians.
To assist in the supervision, education and assessment of performance of physiotherapy students.
