An exciting and unique opportunity has surfaced for a Band 3 Health Care Facilitator to support the Physical Health team at Broadmoor Psychiatric Hospital. The team are extremely supportive and passionate about delivering excellent physical healthcare for both long term and acute problems, including a venepuncture service for clozapine monitoring.

The post holder must also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide high standards of patient care.

Working hours

08:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday, with a Flexible working approach required.

Support and development

Responsibilities
  • Work across chronic disease management and urgent care to support the current specialist team.
  • Deliver venepuncture, often in challenging and complex circumstances and/or environments.
  • Deliver health promotion to patients and support the facilitation of specialist consultant and nurse-led clinics.
  • Record NEWS2 observations and ECGs.
  • Engage with a multi-professional team and patients with complex and challenging Mental Health issues.
