Job summary

A leading semiconductor company in the North East of England is looking for a Photolithography Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will support process development and manufacturing through yield improvement activities and work closely with engineers on new product introductions. Candidates must have experience in a high volume semiconductor environment and hold a degree in Applied Science or Electronic Engineering. A British passport is essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a high volume semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of E-beam lithography equipment and processes.
  • Experience with automated clean tracks and optical exposure tools.

Responsibilities

Overview

Our client is developing cutting edge, next generation compound semiconductors, and is a leader within the North East’s emerging semiconductor cluster. They are now searching for a Photolithography Engineer to join the dynamic process engineering team to deliver core support activity underpinning process development and manufacturing. The role will involve yield improvement activities, working closely with device, yield and development engineers to achieve new product introductions and continuous improvement activities. This role requires a British passport holder.

Responsibilities
  • Support process development and manufacturing through yield improvement activities in photolithography.
  • Work closely with device, yield and development engineers to achieve new product introductions and continuous improvement activities.
Required Experience / Qualifications
  • Experience of a high volume semiconductor manufacturing environment
  • Experience of automated clean tracks and stepper / scanner based optical exposure tools.
  • Knowledge of E-beam lithography equipment and processes.
  • Experience of lithography tool matching
  • Strong communication skills
  • Applied Science, Electronic Engineering or similar degree or equivalent
