As a Pharmacy Technician for HMP Oakwood, you will have direct patient contact to ensure medicines management is robustly delivered in a safe and secure environment. Your duties will include:



  • Administering medications during morning and evening meds rounds located on the residential units of the establishment.

  • Stock management and ordering of medications.

  • Actioning patient prescription requests.

  • Assisting in medication review clinics.

  • Liaising with internal and external providers for positive patient outcomes.

  • Conduct spot-checks to ensure patient compliance with medications in their possession.

  • Carry out medication reconciliations for all new patients to HMP Oakwood.

  • Investigating any missed medications.
