Qualifications

  • Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy technicians completing their qualification may apply.
  • Entry level will be at a Band 4 unless already Band 5.
  • Candidates will be regraded to Band 5 upon in-house accreditation completion.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the medicines reconciliation process.
  • Support effective and timely discharge and patient counselling.
  • Improve the quality of care to patients through efficient medicines management.

Skills

Good communication skills
Basic computer literacy
Good organizational skills
Experience in medication history taking
Experience in patient counselling

Education

Completion of a GPhC-accredited course
Registered with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician
