An exciting opportunity has arisen in our department for a pharmacy technician to join our team to cover maternity leave (12 months). Current students (PrPT) close to completion are also encouraged to apply. The role is varied and constantly evolving to meet the needs of the service, which delivers pharmaceutical care to community hospitals, mental health inpatient wards, mental health community teams and specialised clinical services across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. You will work with a diverse range of staff and patients, so must be able to work collaboratively to deliver the highest quality of care. Currently there are no weekend duties, bank holiday working or late nights. You may be expected to work some Saturday mornings in the future. 1.0 FTE is available, however we are advertising separately for band 3 Senior Pharmacy Assistant and band 4 Pharmacy technician as we are open to receive applications for both. Banding will be determined by the successful applicant.
This is a full time post, but we would consider applicants looking for part time.
This is a fixed term post to provide cover for absence for specific purpose that we anticipate will be required for 12 months. We reserve the right to end this contract sooner with appropriate notice.
