An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Pharmacy Support Worker to join the Stores and Distribution Team at Milton Keynes University Hospital. This post will involve picking, packing and receipting of orders, stock rotation and ward supply including extended services.
Working as part of a team the role will involve lifting and moving of heavy items with appropriate training. Weekend & Bank Holiday working as part of a roster.

Stock shelves in the Inpatient Pharmacy, Outpatient Pharmacy, and any other required location ensuring that stock is kept clean, tidy, in the correct place and used in order FEFO (first expiry first out).
Carry out regular stock checks of medicines stored within these areas reporting any discrepancies to the Procurement Pharmacy Technician.
Professional Responsibilities
To cooperate with managers to ensure the Pharmacy department is compliant with relevant statutory and professional standards on Health & Safety, COSHH, Clinical Governance, and Medicines Management.
To participate in the Pharmacy 7 day working rota including shift working, working at weekends and bank holidays on rotation with the other Pharmacy Support staff and in cooperation with other pharmacy staff.
