A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Cleanroom Supervisor for its Pharmacy team. This role involves leading a team to ensure high-quality aseptic service, processing sterile medicines including chemotherapy. Candidates should have extensive production service experience and in-depth GMP knowledge. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential. Join a diverse team committed to delivering world-class healthcare.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Cleanroom Supervisor to join the Pharmacy team in the Cytotoxic Chemotherapy Production Unit, City Campus, at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH). You will be joining a team of hardworking and dedicated professionals who formulate, prepare and aseptically compound medicines for our most vulnerable patients.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring a high quality and responsive pharmacy aseptic preparative service is available for the Trust, its patients and staff and external customers. The post holder will develop, motivate and lead this professional team to provide the pharmacy production unit with an efficient aseptic preparative service. This will include the responsibility to ensure the deployment of staff to meet the organisations requirements and will be expected to challenge the traditional boundaries of service delivery by introducing innovative change to develop a multi-skilled team of staff.
The role will require you to process and manufacture a wide range of sterile medicines including chemotherapy and investigational medicinal products for clinical trial patients. You should be able to work under pressure, prioritise and organise workloads and be able to work alone or as part of a bigger team. We are looking for confident self-motivated individuals with excellent IT, communication, problem solving and decision making skills. You will need to be able to work unsupervised in all aspects of pharmaceutical manufacturing, including specialist aseptic dispensing, preparation of investigational medicinal products for clinical trial patients and work in specialised cleanroom environments using specialist equipment.
