Availability
  • Sunday: 10:00–16:00
  • Tuesday: 08:30–11:30
  • Wednesday: 11:00–14:00
  • Saturday: 16:00–20:00

Pharmacy Dispenser pay: starts from £12.87 per hour; increases to £14.08 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.

It's our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week. If you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too and would love to hear from you.

We will schedule contracted hours within the availability windows and provide 3 weeks' notice of exact start times. We are happy to support flexibility if your available times match closely but not exactly the advertised times. Click here to read more.

You will be responsible for

Pharmacy Assistants are integral to the running of our Pharmacies. We are looking for someone who is a team player and can take on the following responsibilities:

  • Supporting the operation of one of our new modern Pharmacies
  • Applying technical skills and strong customer focus to accurately dispense medication
  • Dispensing prescription medicines with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Talking to customers in a confident, friendly and professional manner to provide great service
  • Offering information on common ailments, symptoms and products
  • Understanding customer needs and explaining product benefits clearly
  • Advising customers on the range of Pharmacy services available
  • Supporting and delivering Pharmacy services and dispensing processes according to SOPs
  • Assessing the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions
  • Dealing with clinical and legal queries from Healthcare practitioners
  • Responding to customer queries regarding prescription medicines and informing the Pharmacist of any complaints
  • Ensuring dispensary routines and SOPs are followed
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly dispensary and consulting rooms
  • Ensuring prescription administration is accurate and completed on time
  • Bringing promotional activities and company initiatives to life
  • Carrying out procedures accurately to protect profit and ensure legal trading
  • Completing corporate and departmental training
  • Keeping up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy

You will need

  • Qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment
  • A desire to train and develop into the Pharmacy field
