Overview

We are looking to recruit highly motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Dispenser to support and enhance our technical teams based at The Royal Oldham Hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Dispense and label a wide range of medicines for in-patients, out-patients and discharges, working at ward level as part of a discharge team, and greet patients and staff at the pharmacy reception.
  • Contribute to a patient-focused service by working accurately and quickly under pressure while maintaining high standards of care.
Qualifications and requirements
  • NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services (mandatory qualification for this post).
  • Full training provided; you will be required to study for and gain the NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services.
  • Previous pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Candidates with the NVQ2 qualification in pharmacy services and the relevant pharmacy experience will be appointed to the Band 3 post.
  • Mandatory apprenticeship funding to apply for this role.
  • There is a requirement to participate in extended hours, including late nights, weekends, and bank holidays on a rotational basis.
  • Band 2/3 depending on qualifications and experience.
