A prominent healthcare provider in Greater London is seeking a Pharmacy Business Manager to enhance pharmaceutical care through effective procurement and patient safety optimisation. This position involves managing procurement processes, developing training for pharmacy staff, and collaborating with Supply Chain stakeholders. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Business Manager will support the delivery of the Cleveland Clinic London (CCL) Medicines Optimisation mission of providing safe, effective, high quality and efficient pharmaceutical care by optimising procurement, medicines safety and patient outcomes. The post holder will assist in achieving the vision of harnessing the best of global and UK clinical practice and innovation to provide holistic pharmaceutical care through the CCL Medicines Optimisation strategic objectives.
Manage the Lead Procurement Technician in optimising medicines procurement
Develop and maintain a training program for all Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants in the department, in collaboration with Lead Technicians
Liaise closely with Supply Chain key stakeholders to optimise contracts, procurement related workflows and stock management
Participate in the efficient day‑to‑day running of Pharmacy Operations and assisting the lead & senior technicians and Pharmacists when required
Drive Pharmacy Finance, Stock management and Supply Chain related continuous improvement
